I have been completely smitten by my garden and admire all efforts to create a little piece of Eden in other garden spaces. It truly has a positive impact on people .. even if it is only for a few moments at a time. My little garden is in zone 5b but most gardeners experiment with plants that may just make it from a higher zone .. a micro-climate can some times cushion a tender plant. I am a plant 'collector" I have more of a plant zoo than a designed garden. : )

So many buds .. so little time ? .. again .. very impressive !

Morden Sunrise follows through with all the promises made about it ! Still blooming beautifully and very healthy through dry conditions from the summer .. I'll be looking for Morden Blush next year to plant.

The brilliant reds of the Engelmann ivy on the shed roof .. deck supports and railings is a wonderful break from the GREEN of Spring and Summer .. how "Autumn" can you get ?

A closer look at the variation of colour between the old and new "flower" heads .. tan being the older and pink being the newer.

The karley Rose fountain grass has completely over grown the obelisk .. but what a show it puts on .. this is one amazing fountain grass !

A closer look at those "wow" colours !

It is amazing to see such vibrant colours in Autumn with the mums this year. The yellow can be seen way down our street. It may not follow the rules of a "colour wheel" but you can't help admiring that burst !
